Ministry/Service Opportunities

Our weekly worship service is also an opportunity to serve. Worship team, special music, skits, tech crew, children's workers, nursery, greeters, ushers, and other volunteers are used during the service. Get involved!

It's A God Thing Food Bank
Throughout the month, our ministry is involved in gathering and distributing food for those in need in our region. The Produce Give-away is every Wednesday at 4:00 pm and our Food Give-away is the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 am. We welcome those interested in volunteering!

The Women of One Way (W.O.W.) are very involved in ministry to the ladies in our region. Our Coffee Chats, a Monthly Share Group, and regular women's conferences will provide you with encouragement and growth. Visit our calendar page to see upcoming events and join us!

Children's Ministry
Our growing Children's Ministry is teaching our young ones to know and experience the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Opportunities include teaching or helping on Sunday mornings, summer Vacation Bible School, and other special events that occur during the year.

In conjunction with the Town of Damascus and Trail Day's Ministries, One Way Ministries offers our facilities and volunteers to reach to Appalachian Trail hikers and those using the Virginia Creeper Trail.

Small Groups
We sponsor a number of small group gatherings for bible study designed to help believers to grow in their faith. See our Calendar page for opportunities to meet with others for encouragement, study of the Word, and prayer.

Beginning in May and going through October, One Way Ministries joins other churches in the Damascus, VA area for an evening weekend worship service in the town park. There's always a need for help to set up and take down as well!
